To announce further details on this new reboot in development was the American magazine Deadline, which with an exclusive, has made the names of Jeremy Irvine e Hannah Emily Anderson. The male lead is a young British actor whom we have seen in Stevel Spielberg’s War Horse and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. While Hannah Emily Anderson, always a young actress, is already a rather well-known face in the world of horrorin fact, he has already starred in several films such as What Keeps You Alive and Saw Legacy.

The film is in production and shooting will begin in April between Germany and Eastern Europe, directed by Christophe Gans who has already directed the first original film. We don’t know the official plot yet, but we do know that it’s taken from the second chapter, Silent Hill 2 and the protagonist is James, a man destroyed by the loss of the most important love of his life. At one point a letter calls him back to Silent Hill, in search of his beloved and finds himself in a small town where he directs evil and terrifying figures where it is easy to lose mental clarity. Can he resist and save his beloved?
