Riot Games: The Blizzard Circuit is ready to return, that’s when

Riot Games announced that the departure of the new storm circuit, amateur competition designed for all its fans, is now close. In fact, starting from the March 18it will be possible to register for the ‘Circuito Tormenta’, which returns to Italy after the exceptional debut last year, which saw more than 6,000 participants from all over the country, divided into over 700 teams, challenge each other with a click.

Riot Games: the Tormenta Circuit is back in Italy

The competition, which will involve some of Riot’s flagship titles, namely League of Legends, VALORANT, League of Legends: Wild Rift and, new to the circuit, Teamfight Tactics, will allow non-professional players to compete in a competitive environment, experiencing a pro-player experience firsthand. Furthermore, for games that already enjoy a mature ecosystem and competitions at a professional level in our territory, the Tormenta Circuit represents a real growth path and access to a professional career.

The competition, which will split into tournaments dedicated to various titleswill once again see the support of important partners such as PG Esports x League of Legends, ProGaming Italia x VALORANT and Qlash x Wild Rift and TFT, but will also offer the possibility to all event organizers in the area to add activities managed by them under the hat of the Tormenta Circuit, guaranteeing players a path of continuity that was previously impossible.

The Tormenta 2022 Circuit will officially start on 18th of March, and for the occasion Riot Games and its partners have organized an important event that will be broadcast live on the official Twitch channel of Riot Italia, on that of PG Esports, Agent’s Range and Qlash. Further details on the event will be communicated shortly.

The competitions

The competition will be divided into different modes depending on the reference game. For League of Legends, PG Esports has decided to go big by involving Red Bull as Main Partner, joining the competition with the 1 vs 1 Red Bull Solo Q tournament. Furthermore, as a further prestigious Main Partner, all events related to League will be supported by NicNac’s, the unmistakable “The Double-Crunch- Peanuts “.

The 2 best teams of the circuit will also have the opportunity to participate in a “Relegation Tournament”which will offer access to the second division, namely the “PG Nationals 2° Division: Proving Grounds”thus allowing to start in the best way towards a professional path.

The final of the circuit will instead take place in the perfect setting of the Milan Games Week, and in addition to obtaining the glory, the winning team will automatically qualify for an important international tournament. For VALORANT, on the other hand, ProGaming confirms its deep involvement with the tactical shooter that led them to develop a real dedicated branding, Agent’s Rangeunder which all the dedicated activities of the Circuit (and not only) will be developed.

For League of Legends: Wild Rift, the winning partnership with Qlashwhich thanks to the great work done in the management of the semi-professional part of Team Fight Tactics in 2021, by mutual agreement with Riot will also add the latter to the list of Tormenta titles, with a very well defined growth path that will allow everyone the players of Riot’s beloved Auto-Battler to have the opportunity to access the most famous competitions.
