Non-Grand Theft Auto projects like the ill-fated Agent have resurfaced in some posts, which were deleted following a diktat from Rockstar Games
A former employee of Rockstar Games he stated having had to remove posts containing previously unreleased information on projects related to Grand Theft Auto following a direct order from the development team. This is the former technical director Obbe Vermeijwho spent fourteen years with the division North before leaving it in 2009. The title at the center of the content released was Agent, the spy title with the internal code name Jimmy (“in which Jimmy was the Scottish version of James Bond”), but Vermeij vented on his blog following the diktat given to him. “Today I received an email from Rockstar North, apparently some veterans are annoyed by my blog.”

Maybe I’ll leave some anecdotes that concern only me.” Regarding Grand Theft Auto, “I would like to see more openness from Rockstar about the development of the trilogy, but apparently that will never happen. Maybe I’ll try again in ten or twenty years.” L’PS3 exclusive which never saw the light, Agent, was set in the seventies “between a French Mediterranean city, El Cairo and a Swiss ski resort”, but “distractions” like this and thezombie apocalypse on a remote Scottish island they were “depressing,” moving on to work on GTA San Andreas.
