Samsung’s Innovation Campus will bring training courses to six Italian universities

Training courses to prepare students for the infinite opportunities of the digital world. Samsung announces the first six universities for the Innovation Campus

The new edition will start in the coming weeks and will take place in six universities distributed throughout the country. With an announcement today, Samsung revealed the six selected universities. It is about the University of Bari, Cagliari, Genoa, the University of Salento, Pavia and Pisa.

The Innovation Campus project was born two years ago, in 2020, with the aim of accompanying young students in a training course on innovation, to transform the future into the present and open up new professional scenarios in the digital field.

But it is not just a question of implementing new technologies but above all of training human capital. To be able to take full advantage of digital, you need to equip yourself with the right skills. With Innovation Campus we want to be alongside universities and teachers and make a contribution to reducing this gap, supporting students in their training path through the acquisition of new skills, so that they can be promoters of positive change and social progress and economic. How the training courses will take place and how to participate

Participation in the course will provide recognized training credits, through traditional lessons and projects to be carried out in groups. The participants will in fact have to realize un project work corale, starting from an already structured idea, having as a prerequisite the promotion and sustainability of a project with AI technology at the center. The main theme of the project work will be aligned with the research objectives of the University and with the missions of the PNRR.

To participate, students must undergo a written admission test and a motivational interview. The course is aimed at students enrolled in degree courses in technical-scientific subjects.

A commission will also be set up consisting of university professors and Samsung experts. This will reward the most deserving students with a scholarship worth about 1800 euros. The merit will be established by the sum of the final test and the evaluation of the project work.
