Samsung participates in the Fuorisalone 2024 with “Newfound Equilibrium“, an installation that you can find inside Le Cavallerizze of the Leonardo da Vinci National Science and Technology Museum in Milan. The exhibition, created by the Samsung Corporate Design Center, represents an immersive experience that explores the design philosophy of the Korean giant, now centered on man and called “Samsung Design Identity 5.0: Essential∙Innovative∙Harmonious”.

A multi-sensory experience across five unique spaces
“Newfound Equilibrium” presents an inspiring vision for a better future based on the balance between man and technology. To create an immersive experience, the installation uses multimedia artworks that involve sight, hearing and smell.
Five consecutive trips are planned for the participants, which translate the principles of Samsung design – Essential, Innovative and Harmonious – into a thoughtful composition of lights, sounds and digital interactions. The five spaces, which communicate with visitors through displays, sensors and lights, are called “Essence”, “Innovation”, “Harmony”, “Infinite Dream” e “New Dawning”. As you get closer to the screens, the translucent elements transform into specific shapes and textures, while the objects beyond the window seem to get closer, creating an immersion in the dream of an ever-closer infinite future.
Thanks to the collaboration with the MUTINA master ceramists and the ALPI wood veneer experts, the Bespoke refrigerator and AirDresser have also been reimagined to celebrate the coexistence of people and technology, with new and premium coverings that are very pleasant to the eye and to the touch.
