Xbox recently announced that Sea of Thieves Season 8 is finally available, free of charge, on Xbox Games Pass, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Below we present the launch trailer and further details on the new season.
Sea of Thieves Season 8 is finally here
As revealed through the post published on the official website of the title, Season 8 introduces the possibility of engage in ship-to-ship PvP combat on demand. Through the new Hourglass of Fortuneplayers can declare their loyalty to one of the two factions and, at the same time, choose to face players from the rival Faction in Pirate versus Pirate battles.
During these battles they will then be able to obtain alliance, Treasures e exclusive rewards. As players emerge victorious from consecutive battles, the potential for higher and higher rewards will growequally to the risk of being targeted.
In addition to PvP on demandSeason 8 delivers 100 levels of free rewards to earn and last Plunder Pass available to purchase separately. Finally, the Sea of Thieves team revealed that the new Season also introduces two new PvP Milestones for Commanders. These special stones allow players to picture yourself based on their exploits in battle with other pirates.
