Seagate presented the new family of Ingot unit from Star Wars Beskar, the first release of the collaboration with Lucasfilm. Companies want to offer new devices to the public inspired by the Star Wars franchise, taking players’ battle stations to the next level.

The first release of the collaboration celebrates the legends of the galaxy Star Wars: The Mandalorian. These units carry the iconic aesthetic of the “Precious metal” of Star Wars to the line FireCuda. Special edition designs will be available in M.2 NVMe, 2.5 SATA shelves e External HDD. Each unit resembles a Beskar ingot, complete with imperial stamp.

The fastest M.2 2280 SSD from Seagate, theSSD PCIe Gen4 NVMe has speeds up to nine times higher compared to SATA-based SSDs, offering sequential read / write performance up to 7000/6850MB/s. It is also characterized by a stylish heat sink design for premium installation flexibility and high performance. In addition, the SATA SSD allows for installation versatile and construction options.

Players can light up their battles with the external HDD, through one customizable RGB LED bar. This outdoor unit is light and characterized by a simple plug-and-play compatibility, making it easy for players to take their entire library on the go. The new units include the five-year warranty of Seagate and three years of Rescue Data Recovery Services to ensure complete peace of mind for players.

The PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD will be available in 500GB ($ 159.99) and 1TB (259.99 dollars), the SATA SSD will be available in 1TB ($ 159.99) and 2TB ($ 269.99) and the external HDD will be available in 2TB ($ 99.99).

Star Wars Beskar Ingot units are on their way in time for winter holidays. Seagate will reveal others iconic designs inspired by Star Wars over the next year.
