In a day of rumors, Jeff Grubb shows up again: possible State of Play coming with news on the long-awaited remake of Silent Hill
We gave voice to rumor by Tom Henderson, and it's more than normal that now it's the turn of Jeff Grubb stay in the spotlight: the prolific and jovial insider has some rumors about the remake Of Silent Hill 2in this case for an appearance in an apparently nearby event State of Play. The game recently received a recommended minimum age rating fromESRB (the American equivalent of PEGI) and, not surprisingly, the rating is M (18+ from us). Now, in the Giant Bomb podcast, Grubb has added to the mix by reporting the latest (and, as often happens with him, most likely reliable) rumors. There shouldn't be much longer to wait exit dateapparently.
Jeff Grubb Strikes Again: State of Play for the Silent Hill 2 Remake?
Grubb has in fact “heard that there will be something PlayStation, or a State of Play or a showcase, next month” (“something” verbatim, ed.), extending the wait on the news about the remake of Silent Hill 2 until maggio. The insider verdict indicates that “an exit period may be imminent.” In January, Sony's latest presentation showed off the approach Bloober Team to the combat of the original, faithful to the classic as well as part of a migration towards “mainstream horror” for the development team. The rating tells how from “a third-person perspective,” players will explore the eponymous city “fighting humans and creatures, such as Pyramid Heads, mannequins, and monsters,” with “guns, rifles, and knives to kill enemies.” We know, at least, that the game will be released this year on PC and PS5.
