OnePlus presents AI Erasera revolutionary feature for image editing on smartphones that takes advantage of theartificial intelligence to simplify photo editing: with one tap, you can delete what you don't want from your images.
OnePlus AI Eraser, simple retouching with artificial intelligence
Thanks to proprietary AI models from OnePlus, AI Eraser allows users to easily select and remove unwanted elements from photos in Gallery. The AI analyzes the selected area and automatically generates one replacement background which integrates into the image.
The model behind AI Eraser has been trained on a large dataset, allowing it to gain insight complex scenarios. The feature should be able to replace unwanted objects with contextually appropriate elements, improving the look of the photo in a natural way.
OnePlus has invested significantly in Research and development to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the AI-generated content: all that remains is to try it. Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus explains: “We are convinced that generative AI on mobile devices has enormous potential, capable of completely revolutionizing users' productivity and creativity. With AI Eraser, our first generative AI feature, we want to empower OnePlus fans to unleash their creativity, transforming the future of image editing and enabling them to create stunning photos with a simple tap. This year, We plan to introduce additional AI-powered features and look forward to making them available.“
AI Eraser will be progressively rolled out to OnePlus devices globally starting in April, inclusive OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11 e OnePlus Open. European devices will receive the update in Q2 2024.
