Apple TV+ renews the spy series Slow Horses for a fifth season, we discover the previews of the drama based on the novels by Mick Herron starring Gary Oldman
Slow Horses will also return for the fifth season streaming on Apple TV+, the announcement comes after the conclusion of the third season last December 27th. The fourth season, however, has not yet been released, but was confirmed together with the third in 2022. The spy series is based on the novels by Mick Herron, and stars Gary Oldman among the protagonists. Next to Oldman, we find: Kristin Scott Thomas (Diana Taverner), Jack Lowden (River Cartwright), Saskia Reeves (Catherine Standish), Rosalind Eleazar (Louisa Guy), Christopher Chung (Roddy Ho), Samuel West (Peter Judd), Sophie Okonedo (Ingrid Tearney), Aimee-Ffion Edwards (Shirley Dander), Kadiff Kirwan (Marcus Longridge) e Jonathan Pryce (David Cartwright).

At the center of the adventures of Slow Horses, there is a team of agents of theintelligence britannica who works within a “dumping ground department” of MI5, also referred to by the not very nice nickname ‘Slough House’. Gary Oldman is Jackson Lamb, the leader of the group, who works on various types of cases. The fifth season of the series will present itself as the adaptation of the novel “Spook Street” by Mick Herron.
Everyone is suspicious when tech nerd Roddy Ho (Christopher Chung) has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it’s up to the Slow Horses to figure out how it’s all connected. After all, Jackson Lamb knows that “London’s rules” should always be applied in the world of espionage.
