With a tweet via their official channels, the Rebellion Developments guys have announced that Sniper Elite 5 is finally in the Gold phase
It’s been a little over five years since the release of the latest iteration of the Sniper Elite franchise, with a more than satisfying fourth chapter that arrived on the Nintendo Switch less than two years ago. However, we are approaching by leaps and bounds in May, a period in which the release of Sniper Elite 5 is still expected. The stealth shooter set in the Second World War of Rebellion Developments, in fact, will arrive next May 26 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. and will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting on launch day.
With the release date approaching, it was obvious to expect news like this: development of Sniper Elite 5 has officially ended. At the very least, the developers have finished tweaking the game for how we will try it on launch day, without the patches and fixes they’ll be working on from here on out. The Rebellion title is therefore officially in the Gold phase and is ready to be put on disc (or uploaded to digital stores). Below is the company’s official Twitter announcement.

Sniper Elite 5 is in the Gold phase!
Sniper Elite 5 will see the series protagonist, Karl Fairburn, travel to France in 1944 to defeat a terrifying Nazi organization. In addition to the numerous gameplay improvements, the addition of numerous locations and larger mapsrefinement of weapon customization and many other details, in Sniper Elite 5 it will be possible to play the companion in co-op and compete in the new PvP Invasion mode.
In short, even Sniper Elite 5 has officially entered the Gold phase and we can’t wait to try it.
