Pending further news, the company, through a press release, has announced a new virtual concert to be held on the blue hedgehog’s YouTube and Twitch channels on November 30, 2021 at 9 pm Italian time.
The concert will be held as part of Sonic the Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary celebrations. SEGA has also announced an important collaboration with world-class artist, DJ and record producer Steve Aoki, for the organization of this concert on the occasion of his birthday. Founder of Dim Mak Records, the Californian DJ has collected, during his career that began in 1996, the beauty of 10 albums, of which eight recorded in the studio and two collections. Set in Sonic’s unique and immersive digitally created universe, this one-of-a-kind concert will transport you to iconic locations such as Green Hill Zone, Chemical Plant and many more, for let loose to their favorite Sonic the Hedgehog jams. The approximately one-hour set will feature Steve Aoki’s original tracks, as well as Aoki’s remixed versions of Sonic favorites from the 16-bit SEGA Genesis era to today.
