Sonos presented the new generation of smart speakers, named Sonos Era 300 and Sonos Era 100. Smart speakers that promise an immersive and state-of-the-art audio experience. Additionally, the company announced support forspatial audio for Apple Music on several products such as Era 300, Arc and Beam (Gen 2).
Sonos Era 100 and Era 300, here are the new smart speakers
The Era product family was conceived with the intention of ushering in a new chapter in sound and design innovation, and includes two models. It was 300, a powerful speaker with six drivers capable of projecting sound left, right, forward and upward for revolutionary spatial audio performance. But also It was 100, an updated version of the Sonos One with next-generation acoustics and design that deliver detailed stereo sound and deep bass.
The acoustic architecture of the Sonos Era 300 is extremely complex, with a specially proportioned hourglass shaped casing, oriented and drilled. All to improve the direction and diffusion of sound in order to envelop the listener completely. Furthermore, it is the first Sonos speaker capable of producing a multi-channel surround sound when used as a rear speaker in a system home theater. The company has even partnered with artists (including members of the Sonos Soundboard) to reproduce music more faithfully.
It was 100, however, it is only slightly larger than the Sonos One. But it features completely new software and hardware, with a next-generation acoustic architecture and a design that delivers deep bass and nuanced stereo sound.
Era 100 offers a stereo listening experience rich in nuances thanks to the two lateral tweeters which produce clear high frequencies in the left and right channels. Also, a midwoofer large size generates jaw-dropping bass you wouldn’t expect from a compact speaker.
