Let’s discover together the new generation smart speakers

The Era family of speakers has been optimized by award-winning artists and engineers to deliver an even more immersive listening experience, with new connection options and Trueplay optimization technology. Era 300 ed Era 100 are also the first speakers built to Sonos’ new standards for responsible design, including long-term maintenance, more energy-efficient technologies and the use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials.

Era 300 (€499) and Era 100 (€279) will be available worldwide starting March 28, 2023.

“In an age where background noise is constant, quality listening is more important than ever. Our goal is to create an emotional listening experience and to help our customers experience the joy and vitality of the music and content they love,” said Patrick Spence, CEO of Sonos. “The Era family of next-generation smart speakers represents Sonos’ commitment to innovate in audio technologies, create responsible design, and connect deeply with the creator community.”

Era 300: Unmatched spatial audio with Dolby Atmos for creators and listeners

It’s the first compact speaker to have six powerful drivers that project sound left, right, forward and up for unprecedented audio performance, thanks to Dolby Atmos, which puts the listener at the center of movies and music .

“It has created a new way to experience music and audio entertainment. Sound and music come to life with unprecedented clarity and depth.”

said Kevin J. Yeaman, CEO of Dolby.

Designed for spatial audio: the highly complex acoustic architecture of the Era 300 is enclosed in an elegant hourglass-shaped enclosure narrower in the center, specially proportioned, oriented and perforated to improve the direction and diffusion of sound so as to envelop you completely.
Incredible surround sound: Era 300 is the brand’s first speaker capable of producing multi-channel surround sound when used as a rear speaker in a home theater system.

Movie buffs can pair two Era 300s with Arc or Beam (Gen 2) to create an even more rewarding Dolby Atmos experience that puts them right in the heart of the action.
Intensive collaboration with the music industry: Sonos has worked closely with its successful group of artists and creators (including members of the Sonos Soundboard) to meticulously optimize the Era 300 so that listeners can enjoy the sound as well as the artist conceived it and how it was recorded in the studio.

The Sonos Era 300 will be available worldwide starting March 28, 2023 for €499.

It was 100: we have reinvented the most emblematic speaker in its category

Era 100 is only slightly larger than its predecessor Sonos One, but the software and hardware are all-new, with next-generation acoustic architecture and a design that delivers deep bass and nuanced stereo sound.

Now in stereo mode: Two lateral tweeters produce crisp high frequencies in the left and right channels for a nuanced stereo listening experience, while a large midwoofer generates jaw-dropping bass you wouldn’t expect from a compact speaker.
Small but mighty: Era 100’s streamlined, modern enclosure houses vastly improved sound and technology, and is the perfect sleek design accessory for a bookcase, countertop, table or bedside table.
Customize your system: Enhance movie night by adding a pair of Era 100 rear speakers to your soundbar to create a surround sound system, or pair the two speakers for immersive stereo sound.

Responsible, high-quality design for everyone

Era 100 and Era 300 develop the timeless aesthetic designed to enhance the acoustics of Sonos, to meet the challenges facing the environment and to offer a better experience for those who interact with the new designs. This is made possible by a powerful and updated user interface and innovations that allow speakers to last longer and consume less energy, as well as allowing the use of recycled materials.

A more sustainable audio: Era 100 and Era 300 are made of post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), while the paper used for packaging is obtained 100% from sustainable sources. In addition, the speakers are designed to minimize electricity consumption, thanks to a power consumption of just two watts when idle and a new advanced sleep feature.
Designed to last over time: both speakers have been designed for you to use them for a long time in your home.

This is why we have favored the use of screws over that of adhesives, so as to facilitate maintenance and make disassembly and repair easier.
Renewed and powerful user interface: The Era 100 and Era 300 have a revamped user interface that is intuitive and powerful, with a new capacitive volume slider that complements the fast and privacy-conscious music management offered by Sonos Voice Control, the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth.
New connection options: Play all your favorite audio content via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and directly connect other audio devices, like a turntable, with an aux cable and the Sonos line-in adapter.
Trueplay optimization for a wider audience: Trueplay technology uses the microphone array of the Era 100 and Era 300 to optimize audio based on room acoustics. Just one tap in the Sonos app. The optimization is available for both iOS devices and Android devices. It was 300
