The story of souls and swords that transcends the world lives again in the rumors: is Bandai Namco really working on a remaster of Soul Calibur?
Transcending the aeons and the world, a tale of swords and souls is told forever – anyone who loved the series Soul Caliburknowing this initial narrative, will have had a thrill and is about to have another one if he decides to give credence to the rumor according to which Bandai Namco is working on a remaster. Whether it is a return only for the dear old Soul Edge or more titles, then, it will be up to posterity to establish it. But we wouldn’t complain if, five years after the sixth episode, the house of Pac-Man came up with a collection dedicated to the fencers of the late sixteenth century.
The noise of the swords: the remaster marks the return of the good soul of Soul Calibur?
As the world of fighting games has grown, it is not known how long we will have to wait to see Soul Calibur on our consoles again. If nothing else, however, some celebratory plan would seem to really exist. The insider we need to listen to, in this case, is the co-founder of XboxEra Nick Baker. In the latest episode of his podcast, Baker broached the idea of a remastered collection of different chapters from the skirmish saga…or maybe not. In the darkest hypothesis, however, a polish of the first game is “for sure” in development. We leave the podcast to be consulted below to English speakers, at the moment concerned.
Since this is a podcast focused on the jade titan, it is more than natural that Baker would suggest that the object of desire could also be available through Game Pass. Therefore, it shouldn’t even be necessary to specify the incalculable enthusiasm that the fighting game community would pour towards a hypothetical reveal trailer. Unfortunately, however, we have to bring you (and ourselves) back to reality with the adjective “hypothetical”, because it is still a rumor. As much as we like the idea of a return of the series (especially with the exclusive characters of the second episode), it’s good take everything with a grain of salt until Bandai Namco itself speaks.
Now it’s up to you to tell us yours: do you think the rumor is reliable? Let us know belowand as always, don’t forget to stay on tuttotek for all the most important news for gamers and more.
