The protagonist of the story clearly appears in the new photo shared online from the film Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse
Per June 2023 the animated film Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse is expected in theaters. A new image from the film has been shared online.
Indeed indeed a new preview has been published on the film’s Instagram page of the project that intends to replicate the success of A New Universe.
The story and animated style of Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse
The plot of the film will revolve around Miles Morales who, in the company of Gwen Stacey alias Spiderwoman, will undertake a new adventure across the multiverse. In addition, our two friendly neighborhood spiders will also have to face a new and fearsome villain.
It seems that the next film dedicated to the Spiderman multiverse will be based on multiple animation styles.
Already with Spiderman Into the Spiderverse we had a taste of different styles merged into a single work, since each of the Spiderman it was drawn with strokes that let one imagine the universe of origin.
Now that the main protagonists will travel directly to the multiverse we will see these different animation styles that will outline the entire scenography. Therefore they will not be limited only to the appearance of the characters.
Direction and screenplay
The film (animated) will be directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson. While instead to sign the script there will be: Phil Lord, Chris Miller and David Callaham.
The (vocal) cast of the film
As for the voices of our beloved spiders and more, in the original there will be: Oscar Isaac, Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfled, Jake Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Issa Rae, who will return to interpret the protagonists they have already given voice in the first film. We will also have Jason Schwartzman who will be the new villain of the story while Daniel Kaluuya will play Spider-Punk.
