Since the tweet from the same official account as Spyro The Dragon takes the same quote from Parappa The Rapper (“You gotta believe”, recontextualized as “It will be better for you” in Norc Bay), we couldn't help but do the same with the idea of soon having a new game in your hands, perhaps the number 4. We recently announced, both with relief for the developers and with concern for the affected IPs, the debut of Toys for Bob as a developer indie. Now, however, the Canadian YouTuber Guy Eh (always very attentive to Crash Bandicoot and the little dragon, both former Sony mascots) has collected various testimonies at PAX East. The rumor circulating among the developers is the same: Toys for Bob and Microsoft have reached an agreement.

As the tweet above says, therefore, we must really believe it this time: twenty-four years after Year of the Dragon, the new game could be the highly anticipated Spyro 4. “It's about time”, we would add. The post on Twitter coincides with what appears to be the beginning of the development cycle of the fourth adventure of the little dragon, recently seen in Crash Team Rumble as a playable character. Of course, it could just be a simple restart, since in reality the development team has had to obscure many screens and as many blackboards in the photos released to the public for some time. Until an official announcement, however, we advise everyone to take the rumor with a grain of salt.
