STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl multiplayer mode will not be present at launch. Let’s find out all the details in this news
There is no doubt that the new chapter of the STALKER series is a title that is very much awaited by the community around the world, which can’t wait to dive back into the dark atmosphere of the contaminated zone. After having widely shown itself to the public at the last edition of E3, STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl returns to be talked about, and, specifically, of its multiplayer component, which will accompany the ambitious main adventure.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl multiplayer will not be available at launch
In the past few hours it seems to have been confirmed that STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, the new chapter of the acclaimed Horror FPS series, will also offer players a multiplayer sector. The title, arriving in the first half of next year, will in fact include a PvP mode in which multiple players can clash. More details on this have not yet been disclosed, however GSC Game World, the developers working on the title, have confirmed that this mode will not be included at the launch of the game.
The software house has in fact declared that the component for more players of its next title will arrive with a free update in the months following the official release, currently set for April 4, 2022. An exact date has not been specified for this update, but we imagine that more details will be disclosed in the future, probably in conjunction with day one. We remind you that STALKER 2 is coming for PC and Xbox Series X / S (while it seems that a PS5 version is not in the program, at least for now) and will be included from the launch among the Xbox Game Pass titles.
