Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake still in development, Saber Interactive reassures fans of the multi-billion dollar IP
Of all the remake currently in developmentthat of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is perhaps responsible for fans' greatest concern. The doubts about the gestation, which started in 2021, arose just a few months after the announcement with the involvement of Saber Interactive. “Alive and well,” development on the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic continues at full speed
Now we have confirmation from Matthew Karch of Saber Interactive to the foreign trade press that the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, without providing concrete data on its development, is “alive and well”. Saber promises to still aim to “exceed consumer expectations.” It remains to be seen how long it will take before seeing the game in public again, given the lack of transparency behind the scenes of the title. Last month, however, before the divorce (the first) Embracer Group declared that it would still take “some time” before day one.
