Disney+ has released the trailer, key art and also some images relating to the next animated series set in the Star Wars universe, titled Star Wars: Tales of the Empire. The series is the second chapter of the “Tales” saga, in fact it stylistically follows the acclaimed Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi released in 2022. The brand new series Star Wars: Tales of the Empire will make its debut on May 4th on Disney+ with all 6 episodes, on the occasion of Star Wars day.

Star Wars: Tales of the Empire è a journey into the fearsome Galactic Empire. This journey takes place through the eyes of two warriors who face two different paths in different eras. Morgan Elsbeth seeks revenge across the booming Imperial world. As former Jedi Barriss Offee tries to survive by doing what she must in a rapidly evolving galaxy. The choices they make will determine their destinies. The creator of the series who also holds the role of supervisor director is Dave Filoni. He also serves as executive producer alongside Athena Yvette Portillo, Carrie Beck and Josh Rimes. As senior producer there is Alex Spotswood. In the original dub the characters will have the voices of: Diana Lee Inosanto, Meredith Salenger, Rya Kihlstedt, Wing T. Chao, Lars Mikkelsen, Jason Isaacs and Matthew Woodrespectively in the roles of Morgan Elsbeth, Barriss Offee, Lyn aka Fourth Sister, Wing, Thrawn, Grand Inquisitor and General Grievous.
