As Multiplayer recounts, the video starts off quietly, with the streamer expressing his excitement about the game. But soon comes a furious outburst of anger when he finds the choice of pronouns in the character editor, with the man complaining about what he calls “Woke ideology”.
The choice of pronouns feels like a deliberate choice by Bethesda for inclusiveness. The streamer could have just choose “he/him” (“he/him” in English) and continue playing. Instead, he decided that the fact that other users could choose pronouns they identify with was an affront. Confusing the freedom of others for an imposition on him.
The video saw tons of shares on social media, attracting different reactions. Who makes fun of the streamer for overreacting to a menu within a video game. But there are also those who share his indignation and even ask for iStarfield refund on Steam because of this “dispute”.
