Recently, Bethesda officially announced that Starfield has entered the Gold phase and also unveiled the start dates of the Preloads: let’s find out all the details together in this dedicated article
September will undoubtedly be a hot month for video game releases, much like last year actually. Between Baldur’s Gate 3, NBA 2K24, Lies of P and Mortal Kombat 1, our portfolio is already worried enough. If we then add one of the most anticipated productions of recent years, as well as the first effective Microsoft exclusive by Bethesda, the problem deepens. We are obviously talking about Starfield, arriving on September 6th on PC and Xbox Series X | S, and available from day one on Game Pass.
Starfield enters the Gold phase and the Preloads start!
Recently, on your Twitter, Bethesda has officially announced that development of Starfield is complete, and the game went Gold. Now the developers will therefore work on the day one patch, to fix those (hopefully) the last bugs that escaped during the programming. Furthermore, Bethesda itself has unveiled the start dates for the preloads, which will start as early as today, August 17thsu Xbox Series X | S e PC via Windows Store.
Steam users will have to wait for the preload instead, since the launch date for the Valve platform is set for August 30th. Remember that, although the exact weight on consoles has not been confirmed, on PC the sci-fi RPG will occupy 125GB, as we saw when we discussed the minimum and recommended requirements (find the article here).
And that’s it! While waiting for the arrival of Starfield on September 6th, if you want (and you are not a Steam user) you can already start with the preload of the Bethesda title.
