For Ryu’s Beard: Street Fighter 6 punches his way through the State of Play, plus new trailer and release period!
It’s not all Final Fantasy XVI that shows gameplay in State of Playand therefore we have a new trailer as well for Street Fighter 6. And, this time around, it’s not even all PlayStation, if we’re to be honest. In fact the game will come out yes on PS5 e PS4but also on PC and on consoles Xbox. Capcom has invested all the worries with a Shoryuken of the good ones, as the world tour of kicking on the teeth has shown itself in great shape. Not only that, there is also a single-player adventure mode which, apparently, even includes an open world! It remains to be confirmed, then, how to marry these two game design schools.

What we see in the new State of Play trailer, Capcom is happy to confirm it: “Thanks to the RE game engine, Street Fighter 6 includes three distinct game modes” . These are Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub. “In addition to the innovations, the game celebrates what fans love about the series by combining basic modes from previous games, such as arcade, online, training and local multiplayer, in the all-new Fighting Ground“. Of course, like any fighting game, this one brings veterans with it (Ryu, Chun-Li e Luke from the fifth chapter) and rookies (the “drunk boxer” Jamie).
For anyone who is spoiled by the intuitiveness of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the game presents the choice (optional, we say it for purists) of simplified inputs, as well as a mechanic with which players will be able to decide which statistic to improve during a match by loading a bar. The modality World Tour it is described as “a gripping single-player story that pushes the limits of what a fighting game is by allowing players to make their mark with their own avatar.” Furthermore, the Battle Hub it is “a place where players have new ways to interact and communicate”. In each mode it will be possible to enjoy reporters in real time. All this will be available onnext year.
