From the stage of the State of Play of October 2021 it was announced by Square Enix Star Ocean: The Divine Force, the new chapter of the franchise that was shown with a more than interesting trailer
Square Enix is currently working on so many projects that it’s hard to keep up with it now. From Stranger of Paradise, passing through Final Fantasy VII Remake part 2 up to the fugitive Final Fantasy XVI, the company seems to have concentrated the forces and resources destined for triple-A’s on its flagship franchise. There is one, however, that still excites many fans, even if it is perhaps not as well known as the parent series: Star Ocean. And, surprisingly, from the stage of the State of Play of October 2021 that we followed live, Star Ocean is back more than perky.
The first trailer of Star Ocean: The Divine Force made a splash during the conference, albeit devoid of many details. There is also no release date or window, but we know with certainty that the title of Square Enix will arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2022. The latest titles belonging to the franchise were Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlesness for PS4 and PS5 and Star Ocean: Anamnesis for mobile devices. We leave you the presentation trailer shown during the State of Play right below.
