2021 is fast drawing to a close and with it come the Steam Awards annual. Steam recently announced its nomination for the Steam Awards 2021 and some of the categories include “Best Soundtrack”, “Labor of Love”, “Better with Friends” and many more.
As you may already know, the event is held at the end of each year to celebrate the best game developers and publishers of the year. The Steam website currently lists each category for which the community will be able to vote. Let’s see all the details about it in the next lines of this article.
Steam Awards 2021: some surprises and many “confirmations” among the nominations
Voting for nomination of the Steam Awards 2021 will begin tomorrow and will continue until the first week of January. THE Game Awards, earlier this month, they awarded the Popular Game of the Year title It Takes Two. It will therefore be interesting to see how the same title will fare at the Steam Awards. However, it should be noted that the categories vary considerably between the two award ceremonies.
The Steam Awards categories, as you can see below, are quite specific. “Labor of Love“, For example, it rewards games that have been out for some time but that the developers have continued to keep“ alive ”with various contents. The category, “Better with friends“Instead, it’s basically what it sounds like, which is the titles with which it’s fun to hang out with friends.
