What we know about Street Fighter 6: due out in 2023

The highly anticipated sixth installment of the franchise will introduce three new game modes called Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub. These are in addition to: Arcade Mode, online matches, Training Mode, local versus battles and much more. Players will be able to also choose the commentators, through the selection of broadcasters in real time (such as the famous Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Ryutaro “Aru” Noda). From this point of view, accessibility will also be improved, with ben 13 subtitle language options.

The gameplay essentially provides two control schemes: the Classic Control Type (known by fans) and the new Modern Control Type. The latter allows players to jump into the action with simplified inputs. In this mode, special moves will be easier to execute by combining a button press with directional input. Also update the combat mechanics, featuring the Drive System: a new gauge used to execute five distinct techniques to enhance a player’s offensive or defensive capabilities. Some of these are: Drive Impact, Drive Parry, Overdrive Art, Drive Rush and Drive Reversal. More news is expected by the end of the year.
