The mysterious new voice actor of the two mustaches finally has a name: here’s who lends his voice to the heroes of Super Mario Bros Wonder
As if on purpose, we tried to bring attention back to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and here it is Super Mario Bros Wonder returns to the spotlight with the reveal of the new voice actor of the most famous brothers in the gaming world. Just last Saturday we dedicated a substantial article to Charles Martinet in view of his retirement from dubbing Mario and Luigi, before publishing the preview of the new adventure. Nintendo has previously stated that it does not want to reveal the identity of the (still “enviable but not too much”) successor to Martinet, but the wait has finally come to an end. Without further ado, we leave the announcement to the person directly interested in tweet below.
Incredibly proud to have voiced Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Thanks to Nintendo for inviting me into the Flower Kingdom!

The new voice actor for the plumbers in Super Mario Bros Wonder
So far known for lending his vocal cords to Arnold in Genshin Impact, Kevin Zachary Afghani he will be Charles Martinet’s successor in Super Mario Bros Wonder and, we assume, also for the IP from here on out. The voice actor’s first stage was the unofficial web series Dragon Ball R&R, where Afghani stood out in the role of Raditz (from us Raditz). We still don’t know who will take care of the remaining four characters with hats (Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi), but at least for the greedy big belly we’ll find out when WarioWare: Move It comes out! early next month. As for the other Mario game coming out relatively soon, Super Mario RPG, we’re not sure about any dubbing given the protagonist’s excellent mime skills.
