The leaks are running wild for a masterpiece reconstructed to perfection: here is the development team behind the remake of Super Mario RPG
Thanks to the leaks on the matter, we know which one development team internal to Square-Enix worked on remake Of Super Mario RPG. Before you ask, though, we want to be clear: we have no intention of giving spoilers, just as we remained silent about the singing Piranha Plants at the beginning of October. That said, we can say one thing: the pre-orders on the eShop and the credits confirm that the guys at ArtePiazza, or a pedigree colloquially defined as “not pizza and figs”. In fact, let’s talk about the series Dragon Quest, starting from the third chapter in the nineties. Among other details, we have Ayako Moriwaki (Pikmin 4, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros.) di Nintendo EPD in the direction.

ArtePiazza, an illustrious name as a development team for the long-awaited remake of Super Mario RPG
Again according to what emerged, together with Moriwaki the rest of the Nintendo EPD staff also worked on the artistic direction, graphics and interfaces of the remake. As for the animations, they are the work of the newly formed animation house Nintendo Pictures. Lo staff original participated in this reunion, with Taro Kudo (event designer), Yoshihiko Maekawa (co-director) e Yoko Shimomura (soundtrack) on board for the project. The rest of Square-Enix was mostly dedicated to supervision of this rebirth. The other director of the original title, Chihiro Fujioka, did not participate but said he “can’t wait” to play the version for Nintendo Switch. Which, and we say this with no small amount of salivation, comes out this Friday, November 17.
