The richest fighting game ever promises more news in 2024: for the fifth candle, Super Smash Bros Ultimate does things big!
Just when we had resigned ourselves to seeing Super Smash Bros Ultimate closing on the best, here the latest in-game notification surprises us with the promise of unexpected news in 2024. You didn’t read it wrong: we will have new content starting next year, which is now just around the corner. Masahiro Sakurai’s magnum opus, with which the latter closed a chapter on his YouTube channel, evidently still has something to say. This weekend the first new event will be dedicated to blow out the fifth candle of the gamebut on the occasion of the anniversary the game wanted to promise unpublished events in the month of January. That’s when we can add new ones Spirits to our collection.
Hunchback shot: even Super Smash Bros Ultimate appears among Nintendo’s new features in 2024!
From tomorrow, Friday 8 December, playing with the Spirit Board will provide us with more rewards than usual. The encyclopedic collection of Spirits, which at the time of writing this article amounted to 1513 copies, will receive new contents with the arrival of the new year. We don’t know if these are “only” new protagonists for the videogame museum of our previous champion of the Nintendo Switch Advent Calendar, but if so the game would expand a sampling of videogame protagonists never seen before in the history of the medium. We can only be patient, with a trepidation that is of no help considering that so many announcements await us from Geoff Keighley tonight. Additionally, the Sora amiibo has a date: February 16, 2024.
