Kazuya Mishima from Tekken is the penultimate DLC character of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: here’s what we know so far, moves included
With a DLC sold out of the blue and the three months passed by Pyra and Mythra, it was a forced choice to reveal at least one character from Fighters Pass 2: Kazuya Mishima from the series Tekken, which by extension is also the penultimate member of the roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. E3 2021 was the perfect stage to close this long journey that began two years ago with Joker, and now with the second representative of Bandai Namco we have a lot to talk about.
Kazuya is the penultimate Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC!
After months of nerve-wracking waiting, with Kazuya we finally have ambitious third-party IPs like Tekken playing the role of semi-final DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s second Fighters Pass. The trailer certainly does not fail to tear us a smile with multiple references to the love of the Mishima family for jumping off the cliffs with each other, but beyond this we also have the opportunity to take a look at how Tekken gameplay translates on the exclusively lateral level of Sakurai’s fighting game, as well as of course the new scenario dedicated to the latest arrival.
During the live show, however, Sakurai himself has shown us broadly the moves of Kazuya, in view of his complete presentation: we will officially know more at the end of the month. The appointment is in fact for Monday 28 June at 16:00, that is when we will also learn the name of the new scenario, the functioning of the demonic transformation in the game, the Final Smash, the costumes for the Mii Warriors and, hopefully, also something about the last participant in the fight. See you tomorrow for our usual appointment with the weekend event!
