Through a press release, Bandai Namco Entertainment has disclosed the new Dev Diary of Tales of Arise, where the Art Director and the Project Director have revealed many new details
Coming next September 10, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, Tales of Arise is the next chapter in Bandai Namco Entertainment’s award-winning JRPG series. After Tales of Berseria and Tales of Zestiria, the new “main” chapter (thus bypassing remastered and definitive editions) is finally coming. The company has shown us several gameplay trailers by now, as it usually does in the marketing of its major titles, but it’s always nice to have good news. And this time it’s the developers talking!
Through a press release, in fact, Bandai Namco has disclosed the new chapter of the game’s Dev Diary. The protagonists in this case are Hirozaku Kagawa, Project Director of Tales of Arise, and Minoru Iwamoto, Art Director. The latter recounted the efforts made by the team to communicate the characters’ expressions and their personalities using techniques such as facial and motion capture. Hirozaku Kagawa, on the other hand, has explored some aspects of the combat system of Tales of Arise, of which several gameplay trailers have already been shown.
