TCL 40 NXTPAPER (also 5G): the new smartphones arrive in Italy

TCL has worked extensively to build the proprietary NXTPAPER display technology, which it has since launched on some of the brand’s tablets and laptops. But for the first time it will be also available on a refined Android smartphone.

Aaron Zhang, CEO of TCL Communication, explains: “With 2023, TCL has reached a significant milestone in its mission to bring its NXTPAPER display proposition to smart screens at competitive prices. This device reinforces our vision of ‘Display Greatness’, combining eye comfort and the sensation of reading on paper with the convenience of modern technology, all in one product. At TCL, we continue to listen to our consumers and respond to their needs with innovative ideas and a constantly evolving product portfolio.”

NXTPAPER technology and visual comfort

But what makes this series of smartphones so special? The answer lies in the cure for the visual comfort. NXTPAPER smartphones are certified TÜV for low blue light emissions, reducing the visual fatigue often associated with prolonged use of a display. But not only. The NXTPAPER display offers an experience of comfortable and paper-like viewingwhile keeping color fidelity intact. In fact, it has a matte texture, which reduces fingerprints on the screen and reflections from the sun (and other light sources).

This technology adds to others already in use, such as an integrated sensor regulates automatically display brightness and color temperature, adapting them to the time of day and the surrounding environment.

Additionally, the color display offers a versatile NXTPAPER user interfacewhich gives users the freedom to switch between color and black-and-white modesaccording to your preferences.
