Tartarughe Ninja in live action

Kevin Eastman, the father of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, spoke about the success of the film in an interview and the possibility of seeing the Turtles again in live action. Here are his words

I think after the previous films Nickelodeon and Paramount’s intention was to tell a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story in an animated style. We love all the live action Spider-Man movies starring Tom Holland, but we also love the animated Spider-Verse counterpart. So I think they made a great choice to approach animation, so they had more flexibility and creative freedom. Maybe in the future, for now I just know that there will be other very fun projects of this animated version.

In fact, after the flop of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, live action seems to be a remote plan for the mutants, but not impossible. For now it remains an unknown, while the animated version seems to be almost certain to continue, in fact Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon and Point Gray Pictures they are already moving to make a sequelagain with Jeff Rowe directing, and an animated series which will debut on Paramount+, titled Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The future of the Turtles therefore for now seems to be totally animated, but the possibility of seeing them again in live action, perhaps with more mature tones, cannot be ruled out. We take this opportunity to remind you that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is still in theaters, we highly recommend you go and see it!
