The backup application supports data deduplication and incremental backup, significantly reducing storage needs. The NAS F8-422 also supports the Time Machine backup, USB external backup and Rsync remote backup. Cross-platform access is supported Windows, Mac, Linux, Android e iOS, as well as SMB / CIFS, NFS, AFP, FTP / SFTP, WebDAV file services; there is no lack of support for remote mounting SMB, NFS and iSCSI.
