In reality there will be two new revelations concerning Sonic to the TGA 2021. The world premiere of the next film by Sonic the Hedgehog was confirmed for the show, with Jim Carrey e Ben Schwartz (who play Dr. Eggman and Sonic himself respectively) as presenters. Meanwhile, the creator, producer and host of the The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, also confirmed that the next Sonic the Hedgehog game will be unveiled at the event.

SEGA first announced the development of the next entry in Sonic’s main lineup earlier this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series, stating that the new title would be launched in 2022. Rumors have since suggested it will be a title open world, while subsequent registrations of the website’s trademark and domain registrations have suggested that it will be called Sonic Frontiers.
Meanwhile, there’s a lot more to expect at The Game Awards too, it seems. Geoff Keighley has already promised four or five level revelations Elden Ring, and another that has been in the works for two and a half years. Even the first trailer of the TV series on Halo is about to debut, while leaks have suggested that too Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will make an appearance on the show.
