Bologna Game Farm: the three phases of the acceleration program

The first stage consists in analyzing any critical issues (technical or product) of the projects. Furthermore, the roles within the teams are defined and, if necessary, new members are introduced. This phase also includes mentorship sessions, on a weekly basis, with professionals in the videogame sector and with companies from other sectors to improve the technical and managerial skills of talents and support their growth. To name just a few names: Andrew Basil of Milestone, Nicholas Zonca by Native Prime, Samuel Perseus di Reply Game Studios, Marco Ponte and Fabio Respighi by Nacon Studio Milan.

In the second phase we proceed towards the “technical” side. This will lead to the creation of a real playable demo. The demo will be presented to the public and the press in mid-May on Demo Day.

Finally, in the third stagethe teams will prepare a pitch with a clear and defined structure of the entire project, which is as original and captivating as possible, to “attract” potential publishers at Italian and international events (e.g. First Playable, Gamescom, Gamesweek, Game Connection, etc.).
