Xbox exclusive The Ascent has appeared in PS4 and PS5 versions on the website of a Korean content assessment body, announcement soon?
Taiwan Entertainment Software Rating Information website has been updated with releases PS4 e PS5 from The Ascent. According to the portal, the game, published by Curve Digital, may be managed by the Korean publisher H2 Interactive, at least for its Taiwanese release. The title has been an Xbox exclusive (and a Day One Game Pass title) since it was released in July. However, the game’s developer previously claimed to be “aware” of the demand for a PS5 version and reported a while ago to “keep up-to-date on your game”. Responding to a follower in October, the official Twitter account of The Ascent has revived the hope of fans in a possible landing on PS4 e PS5 of the game in question:
Thanks for letting us know that you would love to see The Ascent on PS5! While we have nothing to announce at this time, we want you to know that the team is aware of a request for a PS5 version. Keep an eye on our Twitter account for updates!
Set in a futuristic cyberpunk world, The Ascent puts players in the role of a worker for The Ascent Group, a megacorporation that suddenly collapses without warning, driving the game world to anarchy.
While other organizations and unions struggle with each other to try to take control of the city, it is up to your character to make sure no one can make it, while at the same time trying to find out what caused The Ascent Group to collapse.
In our game review we stated that the game: “is enjoyable, at the expense of history and perhaps forgettable characters. Clashes with enemies in the endgame tend to limp a bit, but the merits of the game are different. What gives life to this mix of ingredients is a title to be played in co-op that certainly is not seen every day “.
