This year is off to a great start with one of the announcements we’ve been waiting for the most from the world of superheroes: we finally have a release date for The Boys 4! We have already had the opportunity to take a look at the plot and posters for the fourth season and, in reality, we already had a exit period of the new season which, however, generalized around the end of spring and the beginning of summer 2024. Now, finally, we have a precise date and this makes us even more excited about what we will see and what will happen in the new episodes of the TV series created by Eric Kripke (full filmography here). In the new season of The Boys we will meet the characters of Butcher (Karl Urban) e Patriot (Antony Starr) resume their adventures, with Patriot having convinced his son Ryan to be on his side, while Butcher, defeated, seeks a way to get Ryan back and stop Patriot and his team of super corrupts once and for all. He is there to lend a hand to the Boys team Joe Kessler (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Joe, as can be deduced from the trailer, will be fundamental for the fourth season and will give a great hand to Butcher’s team in the war against Vought. In the new season we will talk about a war between two factions, picking up the story where we left it with the finale of the third season, with the defeat of Soldier Boy and then continued in the first season of Gen V.
In the fourth season of The Boys we will also meet a new superheroine, played by Valorie Currybetter known in the video game world as Kara from Detroit Become Humanwhich he will play here Firecracker. There’s another superheroine, Sister Stageplayed by Susan Heyward (Orange Is the New Black).
