One of the next horror films coming to Netflix It is tinged with comedy and comes from Sweden: it is called Il convegno (The Conference as an international title) and will be available in streaming starting from October 13th next. The conference is a comedy about a team-building conference for a group of municipal employees that turns into a nightmare when corruption allegations begin to circulate, ruining the work environment. Meanwhile, in this Swedish slasher with warm and humorous characters, a mysterious figure begins to hunt down and kill the participants one by one.

Directed by Patrick Eklundthe film brings to the screen the 2021 novel of the same name by Mats Strandberg, one of the most prolific authors of horror books in the Scandinavian country, published in more than thirty countries, including Italy, where it is published by Giunti, Salani, De Agostini and Il Saggiatore. Strandberg is also attached to the film as executive producer, while Thomas Moldestad adapted his book. They are in the cast Katia Winter, Adam Lundgren, Eva Melander, Bahar Pars, Maria Sid, Marie Agerhäll, Christoffer Nordenrot, Amed Bozan, Lola Zackow, Claes Hartelius, Cecilia Nilsson, Jimmy Lindström, Martin Lagos.
