After some rumors on the net it is now official: the protagonists of Destiny 2 are about to invade the belligerent island of Fortnite, introducing new skins, emotes and even a new multiplayer map in the popular Battle Royale from Epic Games.

The announcement from Bungie came yesterday (August 23), and was immediately confirmed by the account Twitter Fortnite official.

Fortnite x Destiny: here are all the contents of the crossover

The crossover introduces at least three characters, in the form of skins that can be purchased in the Fortnite item shop, which are: Zavala, Ikora Rey and theExo Stranger. These arrive together with the relative ones backs and collection tools, all of which echo Destiny’s spatial motifs. Added to this is also a new emote (which you can see in the video below).

In addition to the cosmetic elements, the collaboration introduces a new game mode called Guardian Zone Control: Javelin-4. This consists of a battle between two teams of five players. The first team to reach 200 points wins the game. The map is clearly inspired by Javelin-4 Destiny 2. Those who want to try it can enter the map code: 0642-9767-7225.

Meanwhile Fortnite is preparing for the conclusion of Chapter 3 – Season 3: In Tuning, which will officially end on September 17, 2022. Is there a new event coming?
