One of the most iconic series of recent years and which boasts a successful cast and storyline is certainly The Crown. After an excellent fifth season, Netflix plans to release the sixth and final season of the series on the streaming platform by the end of 2023. And in the past few hours, the first images have been disclosed via press release, which you can also find in the body of this article.
At the heart of the final season is a new decade in the history of the kingdom: Prince William embarks on his journey to the University of St. Andrews, determined to lead as normal a life as possible. Kate Middleton also begins her academic career at the same university, there they meet, their love story begins and a new future for The Crown. The actor is added to the already well-known cast Ed McVey (age 23), making his screen debut, who will play Prince William in the final episodes of this season, and newcomer And Bellamy (19 years old), who after sending a video for the audition, was selected for the role of Kate Middleton.

This new season was filmed in St. Andrews, Scotland earlier this year, allowing Ed and Meg to experience and enjoy some of the places Prince William and Kate Middleton actually frequented twenty years ago. Among the photos, also an iconic shot of the two actors posing in front of the Northpoint Cafe in St. Andrews, which claims to be the place “where Kate met Wills”.
