The release of The Division Heartland has been postponed by Ubisoft until a later date
In May 2021 Ubisoft announces the arrival of The Division Heartland, but the release date has already been postponed. The free-to-play game, a spin-off of the most popular The Division and The Division 2 (released in 2016 and 2019 respectively), is delayed for unspecified causes from the manufacturer; the open world action RPG belongs to the list of video games taken from the books of writer Tom Clancy, as well as Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon, and will be one standalone compared to the other two titles in the saga.
The probable reasons for the postponed exit and new date
It could be hypothesized that at the base of the postponed release of The Division Heartland there are the numerous sex scandals and the harassment at work suffered by some Ubisoft employees, which emerged for the first time during the summer of 2020 and which also featured Michel Ancel, the creator of games such as Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil. The manufacturer, in fact, has not only postponed The Division Heartland, but also the remake of Prince of Persia the Sands of Time and Rocksmith +, the software for learning to play guitar and bass: all three have been postponed to a later date.
So when the new titles Ubisoft home? On the annual report of the company is marked that it is likely that both Prince of Persia the Sands of Time Remake and The Division Heartland are expected to be released in the next fiscal year, so between April 2022 and March 2023; Rocksmith + will be released in an unspecified period of 2022. Even the new one update of The Division 2 has undergone a shift: February 2022 it would seem the candidate date, even if given the continuous postponements, a further delay would not be surprising.
