The Elder Scrolls Online Scribes of Fate recensione

A new shadow is descending upon Morrowind and Scribes of Fate is just the beginning. As per tradition, the new DLC of The Elder Scrolls this year introduces the cycle of expansions that will affect the MMORPG of Bethesda e Zenimax Online in 2023. Scribes of Fate lays the groundwork for future events by introducing new dungeons and the first intrigues that will once again affect the story of The Elder Scrolls online, let’s find out more in this review.

Our review of The Elder Scrolls Online: Scribes of Fate

In this DLC, our character is approached by the Khajiit Keshargoa former member of a cult called Scribes of Mora which he reveres Hermaeus Mora, the Daedric Prince of Knowledge. Released from the sect due to some disagreements, he will ask for our help to recover the Itinerant staff, an artifact of incredible power protected by the sect. Born as a cult of knowledge and research, the sect now finds itself in the hands of power-hungry individuals. This is causing dangerous anomalies around the city of Telvanni and we will have to resolve the situation as soon as possible because the power of the Daedra is anything but benevolent.

The story, of the duration of about 20 hoursintroduces what will be the events of theexpansion of Necrom that will be available on PC starting June 5th.

News and Dungeons

This DLC introduces two new dungeons: Scrivener’s Hall and Bal Sunnar.

Scrivener’s Hall is located in the Rift and will concern the events affecting the sect of the Scribes of Mora. Although it is possible to complete it solo, it is a dungeon designed for groups of four players given its level of difficulty. Cultists and summons will be the main enemies and will offer a taste of the potential of the Arcanist class that will only be available with the advent of Necrom.

Indeed, we can observe one truly fascinating series of magical attacks with flaming projectiles and status alterations that could be extremely useful. There is also no shortage of end-of-area enemies and powerful final bosses, all to be enjoyed. These will offer a more than adequate challenge and good collaboration with the team will be necessary to avoid being knocked down in one fell swoop.

Bal Sunnar is the second dungeon, also designed for four players and approaches the previous dungeon in terms of mechanics and gameplay. Here we approach the kingdom of Hermaeus Mora where time and space are extremely fickle concepts. We also approach the settings of Morrowind, protagonist of the new expansion with inhospitable lands rifts of time. The available enemies move away from those of the previous dungeon: wizards and humanoids are replaced by disturbing creatures of the void with an attractive design and devastating power.

The environment and enemy design choices make them two of the most particular dugneons we can find in The Elder Scrolls Online and that makes us very happy.
