Ron Livingston was cast to play Henry Allen, Barry’s father, in The Flash. He will replace actor Billy Crudup
Due to some scheduling conflicts for the Apple TV Plus drama titled The Morning Show, Billy Crudup was forced to leave the role of Henry Allen, father of Flash / Barry Allen in the DC Cinematic Universe.
According to Variety, the actor will be replaced by Ron Livingston in The Flash, a stand alone film to be released in 2022 dedicated to the fastest superhero in the world played by Ezra Miller.
Billy Crudup had played the character in Zach Snyder’s Justice League, but now director Andy Muschietti has cast Ron Livingston for the recast.
Among the other actors we will find Ian Loh as the young Barry; while the nice protagonist of Derry Girls, Saoirse-Monica Jackson and the Internet star, Rudy mancuso they will be part of the cast, but we still don’t know what role they will play.
The Flash: the plot of the film with Ezra Miller
Shooting for the film has been postponed several times due to the health emergency, but is expected to begin later this year.
