They have been published the first images of The Last of Us TV series, on the occasion ofOutbreak Day, which they retract from behind Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, as Joel and Ellie. The Last of Us: here are the first photos of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey

The photos in question were published by various profiles related to the production of the series HBO, from those of the protagonists to those of the developers of the original game such as Neil Druckmann. As we said at the beginning, the first official photo portrays, from behind, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, the actors chosen to play Joel and Ellie while they look at the horizon.

“The first time I saw them on set, in costume, I thought: Holy shit! I’m really Joel and Ellie! – He writes Druckmann on Twitter – The adaptation of HBO’s The Last of Us is going strong. I can’t wait to show you more (from all our projects!). Happy day of The Last of Us! ”.

We remind you that the TV series should follow the events of the first video game, with some references to The Last of Us Part 2, which came out last year. On the screenplay we have Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, author and creative director of the videogame, who personally took care of revising the project from start to finish.

Here is the synopsis of the series, which takes place about twenty years after the destruction of civilization as we know it due to the fungus Cordyceps:

“Joel (Pedro Pascal) is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of a quarantined area. What started as a small job however becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey as the two must move together across the United States and depend on each other for survival. The cast also includes Jeffrey Pierce, Murray Bartlett and Con O’Neil ”.
