The runner-up, Super Mario Odyssey, is in second place with a still remarkable 96.81 while the previous Zeldian chapter Breath of the Wild earns bronze with a 95.9. Also for the colleague Metacritic the hint remains more or less the same, placing the youngest of the Grande N at the top of the 2023 titles with a 97 are 100.

In the case of Metacritic it remains the most lauded game on the Nintendo Switch front, as well as the first to nab a 97 since Red Dead Redemption 2, released in 2018. Only Ocarina of Time (99), Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 (98) surpasses it , Grand Theft Auto IV (98) and SoulCalibur (98). The game comes out tomorrow (12 maggio), and those who previewed it were quick to call it “one of the best games on the console, hands down”. Media accolades describe it as “an unfathomable follow-up to one of the best games ever, improving it somehow in every way”. In short, it is certainly not the metaphorical pizza accompanied by figs.
