In the wake of the great success of Super Mario Bros. The Movie, there is talk of adaptations of the Nintendo series again with The Legend of Zelda: the producer Aonuma would like to create a film
Meanwhile the whole gaming world exploded for the arrival of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, sequel to the already highly appreciated Breath of the Wild dated 2019, released exclusively for Nintendo Switch last May 12, some rumors on the net have started talking about a film adaptation of the series. In itself, actually, it all started from the words of the longtime producer of the series, Eiji Aonuma, who said in an interview with Polygon that he is interested in adapting the series into a film. In fact, when asked if the recent success of the Super Mario Bros movie had given him enthusiasm for a potential adaptation of The Legend of Zelda, Aonuma said:
I have to say I’m interested. Surely. Sadly though, it’s not just my interest in something that makes things happen.
Hidamaro Fujibayashi, director of Tears of the Kingdom, he also indicated that the support of the fans in these cases is really essential. In this regard, he would have stated:
Perhaps this is where the voice of the fans is important.
Everyone interested in The Legend of Zelda movie, but is the opinion of the fans more important for Nintendo?

It turned out to be the most profitable film of the year and Nintendo also recently revealed that they are interested in producing more films under the Nintendo Pictures label.
