Sardinia has been officially chosen as the destination for the filming of the next live action DisneyLa Sirenetta. Based on the timeless classic by Walt Disney from 1999, it will feature the young cantate Halle Bailey, flanked by Melissa McCarty in the role of the dreaded Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King (Prince Eric) e Javier Bardem (Re Tritone).
The crystalline purity of the water and the paradisiacal beauty of the island has been able to conquer one of the greatest American productions.
The film will see the director’s hand Rob Marshall (at work with Disney in Mary Poppins Returns), with the screenplay by David Magee e Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Kingsman). The soundtrack will instead be curated by the Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, alternating excerpts from the animated film and original songs.

The Little Mermaid: details on the new Disney live action
After the various rumors and suspicious movements, the film directed by the director Rob Marshall (Into the Woods) is ready to officially activate general production as early as the next few weeks.
