In these last hours Mark Gurman Bloomberg launched a real bomb. According to the analyst, in fact, Apple may decide to release its latest products for 2022 – which include iPad Pro, Mac minie MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch – through Press releases posted on the website rather than in a digital event. A statement against the trend compared to what we have read and heard so far.

In his latest Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman said it is “likely Apple will release its remaining 2022 products via press releases, updates on its website and briefings with select members of the press” rather than through a digital event. Until now, in reality, rumors had suggested that Apple was planning a fall event for the month of October, all about Mac and iPad Pro. But now that may not be the case anymore.
Beyond the way in which the Cupertino company will choose to announce them, what is certain is that there will be three big news on the way:
- models of 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro updated with the chip M2
- and Mac mini updated with M2 and unannounced “M2 Pro” chip options
- models of MacBook Pro updated from 14 and 16 inches.
In any case, despite the products being many, it would not be surprising if Apple decided to announce them through a press release. On the other hand, in the past we have already seen something similar for AirPods Max e AirPods Pro.
