The new PlayStation Plus has a release date: that’s when it arrives!

In the past few hours, Sony has confirmed the release date of the new PlayStation Plus service announced some time ago, also providing more details on prices and contents: let’s find out all the details together

That Sony’s subscription service was in need of a revamp and a revamp was now clear. However, not being able to keep up with the offer of Microsoft’s Game Pass, on which the exclusive AAA titles arrive since the day of the launch, which, according to Sony itselfit is not playable on PlayStation consoles for a simple matter of costs, the ability to play online and the two or three free monthly titles were by now obsolete. The arrival of PlayStation Now and the coexistence of two subscriptions annoyed longtime fans, who found themselves having to make two separate monthly payments to get what could actually be considered a single service. And finally, we already know, things are about to change.

As announced not so long ago, the PlayStation Plus service will split into three different tiers: Essentials, Extra and Premium. In the past few hours, Sony has officially announced the release windows of this novelty in Asia, North America and, of course, Europe. In addition, Sony also confirmed the expansion in the territories of Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia its cloud streaming service.
